Roof Deicing
RoofHeat system being installed.

If you are in need of a roof deicing system, you have ventured to the right place. Our goal is to provide you with the best possible options, then help you select the one that will best meet your needs and fit within your budget. Depending on the size of the area you wish to heat and the application, there are a few different available options:

  • Gutter Melting - Warmzone ice melting cables can be used to melt ice in gutters. They can also be retrofit on existing roofs to prevent icicles, ice buildup, and ice dams. Learn more about Warmzone roof heating systems and ice melting cables.
  • Heat roof edges - This is the most common application for our roof deicing systems. Enough heating element is installed to cover the roof eaves to prevent icicles from forming.
  • Heat valleys and problem areas - Every roof is different and therefore has dissimilar locations where ice dams and icicles form. Our roof deicing systems are versatile and can heat almost any size or shaped area to fix ice problems on roofs and prevent future ones.
  • Heat your entire roof - Eliminate any accumulation of snow and ice by heating your entire roof. This is not a very common application, but definitely possible and effective. On some flat roofs, this can be beneficial because it can prevent roofs from caving in because of the weight of too much snow.
Additional photographs of how the roof deicing systems are laid out can be viewed on the Installation page. In order for us to provide you with an accurate estimate, we will need to know the dimensions of the area you wish to heat and may need to see a plan of your roof. If you email us or fax us (801-326-5199) a plan or sketch of your roof, we can provide you with some possible options that are unique to your project, our recommendations, and an accurate estimate.
